Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, if she will make an assessment of the potential impact of technology on productivity in general practice; and if she will take steps to help ensure that all practices have access to modern systems.

The potential impact of technology on general practice productivity is assessed by NHS England. Ensuring practices have access to modern systems is a core programme within NHS England and continues to deliver funded infrastructure, technology and systems directly into practices. The associated frameworks to deliver these products are regularly updated as technologies evolve.
