Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, how much NHS England has spent on agency nurses in each of the last five years.

The following table shows expenditure on agency nurses in National Health Service providers from 2016/17 to 2020/21. The information requested for 2021/22 will be available in January 2023.
