NHS England is committed to transforming cancer services and improving outcomes for people with cancer through implementation of the independent Cancer Taskforce strategy; Achieving World-Class Cancer Outcomes: A strategy for England 2015-2020. The National Cancer Advisory Group, which is chaired by Sir Harpal Kumar of Cancer Research UK and includes representation from cancer charities, patients and professional groups, provides advice and challenge to the implementation programme. We are also working with charities and patient groups throughout our programme to take forward the recommendations of the Cancer Taskforce.
