Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health, what assessment he has made of the potential merits of including mental health conditions in the list of prescription charge exemptions; and if he will make a statement.

The Department has made no such assessment. We have no current plans to change the list of medical conditions which provide for exemption from prescription charges.
