Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, what role the Government plans that voluntary and community organisations will play in accessing funding from the Shared Prosperity Fund.

The 2019 Conservative Manifesto committed to creating a UK Shared Prosperity Fund which binds together the whole of the United Kingdom, tackling inequality and deprivation in each of our four nations. Stakeholder views from across the UK, including representatives from the voluntary and charity sector, have helped inform progress on policy design. Final decisions on the design of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund will need to be taken after a cross-Government Spending Review.
