Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what recent discussions she has had with the Secretary of State for Education on raising awareness for prospective applicants to student finance of the requirement to have been resident in the UK for three years.

There is regular engagement between the Home Office and the Department for Education on the provision of education for international students.

The Department for Education is responsible for determining which students qualify for Home Fee Status and providing information to prospective students regarding their eligibility.
