Question to the HM Treasury:
To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, if he will (a) review and (b) ease restrictions on intermediary balance sheet lending by platforms under 36H of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (Regulated Activities) (Amendment) (No. 2) Order 2013.
The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) are currently undertaking a review of the regulatory regime for crowdfunding, including 36H of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (Regulated Activities) (Amendment) (No.2) Order 2013.
