Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, how many times DNA testing has been used in immigration cases in each of the last three years.

DNA testing is not carried out or required for immigration applications. Information regarding DNA tests submitted by applicants is not aggregated in national reporting systems. This information could only be obtained by a manual case by case review to collate the data, which would be disproportionately expensive.
