Question to the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport:
To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, what proportion of National Citizen Service participants are from independent schools.
This question was answered on 1st November 2016
For the 2016 summer programme, 4% of participants reported that they attend independent schools (2,550 young people). NCS Trust does not currently hold school data for all participants, so this figure represents the proportion of those who provided their school details.
