Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what steps the Government has taken as a result of the recommendation made in the Hutton review of forensic pathology in England and Wales, submitted to the Minister of State for Crime and Prevention in March 2015, that consideration should be given to the current fee structure payable for autopsies and possibly revised on the basis that you get what you pay for.

This recommendation is part of potential wider structural change that forms part of advice on options, currently being considered by Home Office Ministers, for taking forward the recommendations in the Hutton Review of forensic pathology in England and Wales.
