Fireworks: Sales

Question to the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy:
To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, what estimate he has made of the level of public sales of fireworks in each year since 2010.
This question was answered on 7th November 2016
The Government has made no estimate of the level of public sales of fireworks. This is a £180 million industry that provides employment to at least 250 people directly and supports thousands of others in the supply chain. The Government will continue working with industry and retailers to promote the responsible use of fireworks.
