Question to the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy:

To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, with reference to the operation of the discretionary support fund for heating network customers, what the meaning is of discretionary in this instance; and if he will place a copy of the qualifying criteria in the Library.

The Government will release further information on the fund which will support the reduction of energy bills for consumers on communal networks through public announcements as quickly as possible. This announcement will include details regarding the qualifying criteria.
