Question to the HM Treasury:

To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, whether his Department has received legal advice on data profiling in relation to the contract between HM Revenue and Customs and Concentrix and the provisions of the Tax Credits Act 2002.

HM Revenue and Customs obtained appropriate legal advice in respect of the exchange of information and the use of data analysis prior to the issue of an invitation to tender and at appropriate times through the life of the contract.
