To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, what assessment the Government has made of the merits of bringing the asset management industry into the Financial Conduct Authority's regulatory remit.

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) is responsible for the prudential and conduction regulation for UK asset managers and UK authorised funds.
