Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, pursuant to the Answer of 21 September to Question 47433, if the payment of £3,513.33 made by his Department to Sei Soccer.Com on 9 March 2022 was (a) subject to his Department’s normal assurance checks on the use of government procurement cards, and (b) found to be an appropriate use of public money.

Yes we are content that the referenced payment was subject to normal FCDO controls and was an appropriate use of public money. This was a payment for event costs.
