Question to the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, what comparative assessment she has made of the speed and reliability of UK broadband services with that of other EU countries.

Ofcom conducts regular reviews of the UK’s fixed and mobile broadband performance in comparison to other EU countries through publication of the European Scorecard report. The Scorecard was proposed by my department before being taken up by Ofcom in 2013.
