Question to the Department for Education:

To ask the Secretary of State for Education, how many teachers there were in state primary schools in England in each year from 2010-11 to the most recent year for which data is available.

The following table provides the full time equivalent number of teachers in state funded nursery and primary schools in England, in November 2010 to 2016.
