Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:
To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, for what reasons the matter of compensating UK victims of Gaddafi-sponsored IRA terrorism was not discussed at the recent tripartite meeting between him, Secretary of State John Kerry and Prime Minister Serraj.
Prime Minister Serraj and a Libyan delegation visited London in order to attend an international Ministerial meeting aimed at making progress on the Libyan economic track. During his visit, the Foreign Secretary met Prime Minister Serraj for a bilateral meeting and raised the matter of compensation for UK victims of IRA terrorism.
