The Federated Data Platform (FDP) is a vital upgrade for the National Health Service, allowing it to use data to improve outcomes for patients; the pilot sites were able to discharge people quicker, and shorten waiting lists.

The FDP will be rolled-out in approximately 15 to 20 Trusts in each quarter over the next three and a half years.
