The UK's recently published International Development White Paper recognises the crucial role women and girls play in climate and nature action and the importance of partnering with women's rights organisations across our work. In addition, the FCDO's International Women and Girls Strategy includes a commitment to increase the portion of our International Climate Finance that promotes gender equality and women's rights. At COP28, the UK endorsed the Gender-Responsive Just Transitions Partnership Pledge and also joined a Champions Group on Grassroots Gender-Just Climate Finance.
