To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, what discussions his Department has had with GKN on the future of the workforce at that company's Yeovil helicopter plant.

GKN are making every effort to support workers and their families throughout this period of uncertainty and, wherever possible, GKN will seek to offer alternative jobs to employees at other UK sites. We remain in contact with the company and stand ready to support any affected workers where we can.
