FCDO is abreast of the latest evidence on malaria prevention and treatment. We will continue to work with partners to assess evidence as it is released.

FCDO remains committed to funding research to develop tools to prevent, detect and treat malaria. This has resulted in successes such as the world's first child-friendly antimalarial drug which is estimated to have saved more than a million lives since 2009.

Global health remains a top priority for UK ODA and we will continue to be a major contributor and a force for good in leading international action.
