Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, with reference to page 10 of her Department's Annual Report & Accounts: 2020-2021, HC 660, published on 22 September 2022, what assessment she has made of the reasons for the assertion that her Department has experienced resourcing challenges, in terms of securing both the staff and skills needed for delivery.

The creation of the FCDO brings together our development and diplomatic expertise to deliver greater impact for the UK internationally. FCDO transformation is a important change programme and we have prioritised securing the right resources and skills to implement it.
