Local Government: Dorset

Question to the Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities:

To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, how many meetings officials of his Department have had with (a) elected Councillors from Dorset's nine Councils and (b) employees of Dorset's nine Councils since 1 September 2016; and at which point the local Government reorganisation in Dorset has been discussed.

Officials in my department regularly meet with councillors and officials from Dorset on a range of issues, including the future of local government in Dorset. A comprehensive list of meetings could only be obtained at disproportionate cost.
