To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, what his most recent estimate is of the number of contractors working under the control and management of umbrella companies that are constituted as independent limited companies.

HM Revenue & Customs has not estimated how many contractors, constituted as independent limited companies, are working under the control and management of umbrella companies.
