This question was answered on 1st December 2016

In Key Stages 3 to 4 in state funded secondary schools, the proportion of mathematics hours taught by a teacher with a relevant post A-level qualification was 82.0% in the 2015/16 academic year.

A full breakdown of the qualification types is included in Table 12 in the statistical first release ‘School Workforce in England, November 2015’, which was published in June 2016: https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics/school-workforce-in-england-november-2015

Information for Key Stages 1 and 2 is not available as we do not collect information on mathematics teaching time in primary school through the school workforce census.
