Question to the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy:

To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, what recent discussions he has had with his counterparts in other EU member states on UK participation in EU scientific programmes after the UK leaves the EU.

Post-exit participation in EU research programmes will be a matter for the negotiations which will follow the triggering of Article 50. We will work through the implications for future years as part of the wider negotiations.
