On 13 October the Secretary of State for Transport announced an improved compensation scheme for passengers. This will apply if their train is more than 15 minutes late. Delay Repay already provides generous compensation for delays between 30 and 59 minutes of 50% of the fare paid for the affected journey, whatever the cause of the delay, and we have no plans to assess increasing the compensation paid further.
