Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health, what contribution his Department is making to Government proposals on the taxation of e-cigarettes being made to the European Commission's Fiscalis Programme.

As is normal practice, the United Kingdom’s responses to European Commission proposals are cleared across Government. The Department will respond to any request from HM Treasury to agree the Government’s line on this subject if and when firm proposals are made by the Commission.
