Southern: Compensation

Question to the Department for Transport:
To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, how many applications for compensation were submitted to Govia Thameslink Railway by passengers using Southern rail services in each month from August 2015 to date.
This question was answered on 7th December 2016
We do not hold this information as the operator is under no obligation to provide it to us. Govia Thameslink Railway provides an aggregate figure for the cost of Delay Repay (which is published by the Office of Rail and Road annually) but not the number of Southern claimants.
