Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health, how many people employed in human resources roles in his Department have (a) prior experience and (b) qualifications in human resources.

The numbers of people employed in human resources (HR) roles in the core Department who have prior HR experience are set out in the table below:

Of the above people, 22 individuals have formal qualifications in HR–related subjects.

This number does not include those in the Department’s HR directorate who are currently working towards formal qualifications in HR-related subjects.
