Question to the Department for Education:

To ask the Secretary of State for Education, what estimate she has made of the proportion of medical research charities she expects to incur costs as a result of the apprenticeship levy.

There is no specific assessment of registered charities or medical research charities. However, employers paying the levy will be able to access funding for apprenticeships through a new digital apprenticeship service account, and the government will apply a top up of 10% on their digital funds.
