Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health, what the current position of NICE is on the funding of energy psychology as a psychological treatment available through the NHS; and if he will make a statement.
This question was answered on 14th December 2016
The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence has advised that it has not considered energy psychology as a psychological treatment through its topic selection process for its technology appraisal and highly specialised technologies programmes.
