Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:
To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, what estimate she has made of the (a) number and (b) type of animal furs and skins which were seized after being imported illegally in each of the last five years; and if she will make a statement.

The Animal and Plant Health Agency (APHA) do not hold this data. APHA are a Regulatory body and have no statutory powers to seize illegally imported consignments which would fall to the Local Authority.
