Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health, for what reasons the ambit of the Health Service Medical Supplies (Costs) Bill 2016 was changed to include medical supplies other than pharmaceuticals during the drafting stage of that Bill.
This question was answered on 14th December 2016
The scope of the Bill did not change during drafting stage to add medical supplies. It was always intended to cover health service medicines and health service medical supplies.
