Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what assessment he has made of the effect of the Elective Recovery Fund on health inequality for Trusts in receipt of that funding.

NHS England’s ‘2021/22 priorities and operational planning guidance: October 2021 – March 2022’ which underpins the Elective Recovery Fund, places a continued focus on tackling health inequalities, including asking that all National Health Service Board performance reports include deprivation and ethnicity.
