Question to the Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities:

To ask the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, whether his Department has carried out an equalities impact assessment on the introduction of the new permitted development rights, Class MA, announced on 1 August 2021.

In developing the proposals we undertook assessments of any potential impacts on people who share a protected characteristic as required under the public sector equality duty.
