Question to the Department for International Development:
To ask the Secretary of State for International Development, whether her Department plans to exit or transition from any country programmes as a result of the Bilateral Development Review 2016.
This question was answered on 14th December 2016
DFID has not taken any decisions to exit specific country programmes as a result of the Bilateral Development Review. However, we will continue to review readiness for countries to self-finance their development, or transition from traditional aid to different forms of UK support based on mutual interest and engaging other parts of the UK Government.
