Question to the Department for Education:

To ask the Secretary of State for Education, whether her Department records information on the number of children placed in isolation at school who (a) are (i) neurodivergent and (ii) experiencing other mental health challenges and (b) do not have those diagnoses.

The department does not collect or hold data centrally on the number of children placed in isolation at school who have a neurodiversity diagnosis, a mental health challenge or no diagnosis at all.
