The Foreign Secretary, my Rt Hon. Friend the Member for Uxbridge and South Ruislip (Mr Johnson) has spoken to Vice President-elect Mike Pence, Senator Jeff Sessions (now the nominee for Attorney General) and other senior Republicans since the US Elections on 8 November. The Prime Minister, my Rt Hon. Friend the Member for Maidenhead (Mrs May) has spoken twice with President-elect Donald Trump. Furthermore the British Ambassador in Washington and his team have also had extensive engagement with Mr Trump's transition team.
