Question to the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy:
To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, pursuant to the Answer of 6 December 2016 to Question 55870, if he will assess the merits of retaining the ownership of North Sea assets to be sold by Shell in the UK.

The Government does not have any plans to make an assessment of the kind described.
