Question to the Department for International Trade:

To ask the Secretary of State for International Trade, how many companies based in the UK are authorised to export riot control (a) agents and (b) equipment to the US under specific individual export licences; and if she will list the names and addresses of those companies.

Currently there are (a) no companies authorised to export riot control agents; and (b) one company authorised to export riot control equipment under a Standard Individual Export Licences (SIELs).

However, a list of all names and addresses of companies that are authorised to export riot control agents and/or equipment can only be provided at disproportionate costs. Furthermore, such information may be commercially sensitive.
