Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what recent assessment she has made of the adequacy of social care capacity in Mid Bedfordshire constituency.

The Department does not make assessments of the adequacy of social care capacity in specific local areas. Under the Care Act 2014, local authorities have a duty to promote the efficient and effective operation of their local care markets, to ensure services are diverse, sustainable, and high quality for the local population.
