Question to the Department for International Trade:

To ask the Secretary of State for International Trade, what estimate his Department has made of the level of exports from the UK in each of the next three years.

The Department for International Trade does not produce forecasts of exports.

The forecasts published by the Office for Budget Responsibility as part of the November 2016 Autumn Statement are given in Table 1 below.

Note: Since publication of these forecasts, the Office for National Statistics (ONS) has detected an error in the trade data which affects the actual export figure for 2015, and therefore the OBR forecasts for subsequent years. As a result of the ONS error, the 2015 figure for exports has been revised up to £513.1 billion.
