For confidentiality and operational security reasons, the National Crime Agency does not comment on individual Suspicious Activity Reports.

On 25 March, the Government published the Rycroft Review into countering foreign financial influence and interference in UK politics. The Government has taken forward the recommendation from the Review for a moratorium on the use of cryptoassets as political donations and plans to table amendments to the Representation of the People Bill so that any political donations made via cryptoassets from 25 March 2026 must be returned.
