Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:
To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, what discussions he has had with representatives of the Russian government on the humanitarian crisis in Aleppo.
The Foreign Secretary summoned the Russian Ambassador to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office on 15 December to discuss the situation in Syria. The Foreign Secretary made clear the British Government’s concern over the actions of Russia in Syria, and in particular the situation in Aleppo where Russia has failed to uphold its obligations under international humanitarian law.
