Question to the Home Office:
To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, how many charges the Economic Crime Command of the National Crime Agency has filed against (a) individuals and (b) companies in each year since 2013.
Charges are a matter for the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS). The National Crime Agency does not record the number of arrests or subsequent charges by Command and therefore it is not possible to provide this information. Activity that leads to charges is often the result of work undertaken by multiple units across the agency.
