Question to the Department for International Trade:

To ask the Secretary of State for International Trade, what steps he is taking to promote British values of fairness, tolerance and equality in his discussions with potential future trade partners.

The UK has long supported the promotion of our values globally and this will continue as we leave the EU.

We are working closely with counterparts across a wide range of countries and markets, in order to promote the UK as a great place to do business and with which to trade, and to ensure that Britain becomes a global leader in free trade once we leave the EU.
