Question to the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, what assessment she has made of the potential merits of providing social tariffs to improve access to broadband among low-income households.

We will consider this in light of Ofcom’s analysis on this issue which was included in the broadband Universal Service Obligation report published on 16 December.
