Question to the Department for Transport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what estimate he has made of the value of (a) staffing expenditure, (b) other revenue costs and (c) capital expenditure by his Department and its arms-length bodies in whole or in part in Yorkshire and the Humber in 2016-17.

The Department does not budget or forecast on a regional basis, as such this information is not available for the current financial year.

Information on the total amount of current and capital expenditure on services by organisation in Yorkshire and the Humber is publically available on gov.uk as part of the Country and Regional Analysis statistical release. It contains spending on current and capital expenditure on services by organisation, but not down to the level of staff expenditure. This information covers 2011-12 through to 2015-16 and can be found at the following web link:
